How to set up Clay for outbound without wasting credits
A careful way to set up your Clay table so you do not burn credits on bad leads.
Clay is powerful and credits go fast. A little setup order saves a lot.
Set it up in this order
- Start with a small list of ten rows.
- Filter before you enrich, not after.
- Add one enrichment at a time and check the results.
- Stop a column when the hit rate is low.
- Only then run the full list.
Keep a log
Note what each column cost and what it found. You will see which ones are worth it.
